Haiku 5.5 is priced in two tiers by prompt length: 100K tokens or fewer (≤100K) and over 100K tokens (>100K). The AUD column shows the launch rate at a reference rate of 1 USD = 1.53 AUD; AUD invoices use the exchange rate on the day of use, with no exchange margin.

How to get the launch rate

Request a launch rate card. Send the form on this page with your models and rough monthly volume. Requests must reach us by 31 January 2027, 11:59 pm AEDT.
Get your rate card in writing. Within one business day, AEST. It carries the launch rate line for Claude Opus, Sonnet and Haiku 5.5 on global routing at 90% of Anthropic's list price on the day of use (never above the activation-day rate), and the standard rates that apply after six months.
Open your account and create keys. You receive a console login and create keys per project. Open the account by 14 February 2027; the six months start on the day it is activated. The docs and quickstart cover setup.

Your account is opened by 14 February 2027.
One account per company group.

What is not included

Australian-region pinning. Models marked AU can be pinned to Sydney or Melbourne on request; that routing is quoted on your rate card.
Batch requests, and fast or priority tiers.
Claude Fable 5.1 and other models, which are priced on your rate card.
Server-side tools that are billed separately.

Launch rate questions

What counts as Anthropic's list price? +

The per-token API prices Anthropic publishes for the same model and token type, on the day of use. The table above shows them as at 2 November 2026, from Anthropic published pricing, checked 2026-11-02.

What happens if Anthropic changes its list price? +

If Anthropic lowers its list price, the launch rate falls with it: you pay 90% of the list price in effect on the day of use. If Anthropic raises it, the launch rate never rises above 90% of the list price published on the day your account was activated. We re-check the table whenever Anthropic changes its pricing.

Does the launch rate work with Claude Code? +

Yes. Claude Code requests to Opus, Sonnet and Haiku 5.5 on global routing are billed at the launch rate like any other request. The Claude Code setup guide shows the base URL and model settings.

What happens after six months? +

Your account moves to the standard rates on your rate card, which shows both rates from the start. We email you at least 30 days before the launch rate ends.

Is the launch rate available on Australian-region routing? +

No. It covers standard requests on global routing. Models marked AU can be pinned to Sydney or Melbourne on request; that routing is quoted on your rate card and carries the provider's regional premium.

Launch rate terms

Offer. Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Claude Haiku 5.5 are billed at 90% of Anthropic's published API list price for the same model and token type on the day of use, and never more than 90% of the list price published on the day your account was activated. This covers input, output, 5-minute and 1-hour cache writes and cache reads, including Haiku 5.5's prices for prompts over 100K tokens. If Anthropic lowers its list price, the launch rate falls with it; if Anthropic raises it, the launch rate stays at the activation-day rate.
Who. Business accounts whose rate card request reaches us between 2 November 2026 and 31 January 2027, 11:59 pm AEDT, and whose account is opened by 14 February 2027. One account per company group.
How long. Six months from the day your account is activated. We email you at least 30 days before it ends. After that, the standard rates on your rate card apply; your rate card shows both.
Scope. Standard requests on global routing; requests may be processed in any region where the model is offered. Not included: Australian-region pinning (quoted on your rate card), batch requests, fast and priority tiers, server-side tools billed separately, Claude Fable 5.1 and other models. Some Anthropic API features are not available through Seedrise; see the docs.
Monthly cap. The launch rate covers the first US$10,000 of Claude 5.5 usage per account per calendar month, measured at the launch rate. Usage above that is billed at the standard rates on your rate card.
Capacity. If demand exceeds our capacity, we will stop accepting new launch rate requests and post the closing date on this page at least 7 days ahead. Accounts already approved keep the launch rate for their full six months.
Currency and tax. Rates are set in USD. AUD invoices convert the USD launch rate at the exchange rate on the day of use, with no exchange margin. Rates exclude GST; Australian entities receive a GST tax invoice.
General. The launch rate is not combined with other discounts. Your rate card and our terms of service apply. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
